Leticia Ortiz
Title: Account Manager/Property & Casualty

Leticia is an Account Manager in the Property/Casualty Department renewing policies, issuing endorsements and certificates, and answering customer inquiries. She has been with Nonprofit Resources since 2004 and she holds a Property & Casualty license to sell policies in Colorado. Her experience, knowledge and concern for the nonprofit culture makes her a valuable asset to Nonprofit Resources’ staff.

Leticia began working in the insurance industry in 1995 with a personal lines agency. She handled automobile and homeowners’ policies for the agency, as well as serving as the office manager. In that agency, ninety percent of the clientele was Hispanic and, since Leticia was born and raised in Mexico, she was able to utilize her native language to provide great service to her customers. Always interested in learning and improving her skills, Leticia took bookkeeping and computer classes to increase her business capabilities while growing in the industry.

Leticia is particularly fond of enjoying activities with her husband and children. She has a son and a daughter. Cooking favorite dishes, riding bikes, boating and spending time with her extended family are all enjoyable pastimes for Leticia. She also enjoys volunteering for nonprofit organizations, particularly homeless shelters and food banks, which she finds most rewarding.
