Lew Bakkemo
Receptionist/Insurance Clerk
Lew represents the welcoming voice of Nonprofit Resources and Colorado Nonprofit Association to our customers, and doubles as the friendly face behind the front desk. Among his duties, Lew particularly enjoys talking with customers to determine who on staff would be the best person to assist the caller when they make initial contact with Nonprofit Resources. He has a keen interest in assisting callers by ensuring these connections are right the first time, which makes him a great asset to this organization.
Lew is has been with Nonprofit Resources since October of 2001. Aside from his duties in reception, he oversees Nonprofit Resources’ office machines, orders supplies and acts as liaison with building management and maintenance. He works on special projects for the Association and carries a genuine interest in serving the nonprofit culture which is prevalent among our staff members.
Lew is a Denver native and has always resided in the Denver area. Previous occupations have included being a carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and serving with the building facilities supervision staff of Blue Cross.
He has enjoyed such diverse activities as singing, bowling, and Glendale politics and recently has developed an interest in hypnotherapy. When you make a call to our office, you will likely encounter Lew’s friendly voice… Just the first in a series of helpful staff members here at Nonprofit Resources. |
