Nicole Hetzer
Title: Finance/Office Manager

Nicole Hetzer began working with Nonprofit Resources in 2007 as the Finance and Office Manager. She was interested in joining a work culture that values its employees as well as its customers. The nonprofit focus was interesting to her, and she now enjoys the overall emphasis upon helping people and the nonprofit community of Colorado.

In her business management capacity, Nicole’s efforts are divided between managing office and staff operations and her financial / accounting responsibilities. Before joining the team, Nicole spent seven years as a financial planner, working with small wealth management companies. Over time, Nicole has accumulated more than ten years of experience in finance and accounting, and she holds status as an honors graduate in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Born and raised in Texas, Nicole adopted Colorado as her new home in 2005. Travels to Europe, India, Mexico, and around the U.S. have presented Nicole with opportunities to practice her favorite hobby, which is photography. Her photo portfolio includes a variety of subjects, and she is frequently seen with her camera in hand. Nicole also enjoys live music events and spending time with family and friends.

Nicole’s interest in working with and serving the nonprofit culture is represented not only by her work with Nonprofit Resources but in her specific passion for children and education. She volunteers with the Children’s Literacy Center in Denver to help children improve their reading and language skills. Nicole’s business experience and expertise, including her heart for the concerns of our nonprofit sector, are valued assets at Nonprofit Resources.
