Volunteer Accident Insurance

With any organizational activity, there always exists the possibility that a participant may suffer an injury…perhaps just a cut, scratch or bruise…or perhaps something much more serious.

If an accident did occur and your organization wanted to help pay the medical expenses, could your treasury withstand the financial impact? In the case of a serious accident, medical expenses could easily be far in excess of the funds you have available.

Accident Insurance provides a limited amount of coverage for injury to a student, volunteer or program participant. The insurance pays, regardless of fault. It may pay expenses in addition to the amount paid by an individual’s health insurance policy. It may only pay those expenses not covered by a health insurance policy such as deductibles or co-pays. The policy and premium selected will determine how a claim will be paid.
